The Shelter houses a wide variety of animals not just cats and dogs. These animals are not only strays but unwanted owned animals. Animals are not only brought to the Shelter by County residents but also brought in by Fauquier County Animal Control. In a given year, The Fauquier SPCA provides shelter, food and comfort to over 3,000 animals.
